VirdimTerms of use
In short: Virdim is a daily verse, prayer, hadith and dhikr app for iPhone. Core features are free; Virdim Plus is an optional in-app purchase. The app is not a mushaf, a translation of record or a source of religious rulings.
The service
Virdim shows one verse, one prayer and one hadith a day; counts dhikr; produces shareable cards for Fridays and religious days; and lists the 99 names of Allah and religious days. You use the app under Apple's standard App Store licence (Standard EULA); these terms are in addition to it.
Content and sources
Quran text from the Tanzil Project; Turkish translation from Elmalılı M. Hamdi Yazır (1935, public domain); English translation from Marmaduke Pickthall (1930, public domain); hadiths from Sahih al-Bukhari with Turkish from Ahmed Naim's Tajrid translation (1928, public domain) and English from Suhrawardy (1905); the list of the 99 names from Tirmidhi; religious-day dates from the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs. Texts are unchanged; no commentary is added. Virdim is not a mushaf or a translation app and gives no religious rulings. Cards are for personal sharing; the watermark is not removable.
Virdim Plus
Plus adds your name and all templates on cards, all wallpaper templates, unlimited custom dhikr and unlimited favourites. It is sold through the App Store as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase; the price is shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Refunds follow Apple's policy. "Restore purchases" brings purchases to other devices on the same Apple ID.
Liability
Virdim is provided "as is". Notifications, widgets and the Live Activity depend on your iOS settings and device; we accept no liability for missed or delayed delivery. Religious-day dates follow the official calendar, but rely on the official source in case of error. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Use
You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute or commercially reproduce the app. We claim no rights over public-domain texts; the app's code, design and card templates belong to Virdim.
